I've been working on some enhancements to the program and have added 'News Feeds' for writers with some great links to some powerful information covering many different aspects of writing.
It was suggested that there be a way for an author to communicate with their readers. So I am currently finishing up the 'forum' segment. This will enable the author to set up a forum session, giving it a title and listing which of the members will be allowed to participate. For all practical purposes it is just like a chatroom but is for each author to have their own. Readers will see a link on their page that lists the name of the forum, date and time. AND, it will allow the author to print out the whole forum conversation after it is over.
I've also been playing with setting up web sites for the authors. The links would be on the main page, probably at the top. Each author would have a small space allowed for them to have a web presence. If they want to just list their books, or publications, so be it. And, it is being designed so if the author knows nothing about web design, they can use templates, just add text.
Plus I hope to add a page of links for the authors to list their items for sale; such as books.
As you can see, feedback from current members has been very beneficial. Keep the ideas coming, I'll see what I can do. Afterall, this is YOUR website!
