Call it a haven for authors who need to share their work with others, but with a discretionary eye.
Some may think this a strangely titled website. Let us evaluate.
What does Emporium mean? After a quick search of different dictionaries, the following was discovered:
a place where various goods are gathered
a trading center
a collection of different departments under one roof
What does Gazette mean? Again, a quick search reveals:
a newspaper, official journal
various publications with announcements and bulletins
verb: to publish or announce
Okay, so basically The Emporium Gazette means a location where different journals or announcements are brought together under one roof.
There is no actual sales here. This site is not offering to sell or buy your writing.
In fact, this site won't even promise you that a surfing editor will suddenly swoop in and want your story or article.
